Good Morning Beautiful!
Kind of a bummer not to be waking up next to you since it's definitely one of my favorite activities. I love waking up early (and somehow it seems I always wake up before you) with my face in your hair, and my arm around that beautiful body of yours. I love kissing your ear or your cheek while you're still asleep and getting a little sigh or noise out of you, watching your body move a little trying to stay asleep until you realize that I'm kissing you on your neck now. Then you start opening your eyes and even before they're fully opened or even half way to focused I get that big beautiful (and possibly at this early hour, dopey) smile from you. That's when you get to hear me sigh. Before I know it you've planted your face firmly in my chest or one of the other "nooks" you always talk about, with your arm around my torso, our legs all twisted up with each other's... my hand stroking your back or side slowly. Then, inevitably we spend the morning talking, projecting our dreams for our future onto the white ceiling of my bedroom with our words. Or remembering the past and laughing.
Since we first met, somehow, waking up next to you has definitely been one of my favorite, and undoubtedly one of the more special and unique, parts of this thing that we share. I'm sure it's one of the things that no one else would get. Maybe that's why I especially love it, because it's just ours.
